KanjiLynx is free through May, 2024!

To limit malware, many applications which are downloaded from the internet require an extra step to open the first time. Here's what to do if that occurs:

      On Macintosh, after downloading KanjiLynx:

1) double click on the KanjiLynx icon as normal - when a message appears, choose 'Cancel'.

2) then, holding the 'control' key down, click again on the KanjiLynx icon and choose 'Open', and then click 'Open'.

   After that it will open normally.

On Windows, after downloading KanjiLynx:

First extract all: then when you see 'Windows protected your PC', click 'More Info', then click the button 'Run anyway'.

KanjiLynx is carefully checked for malware so the first opening takes 30 or 40 seconds - thanks for your patience, safety first.

It will open normally thereafter.
